Fashion Refugee
I couldn’t help notice a rather unusual trend while clicking and scrolling through my favourite sites for my daily fashion fix—a couple of garments covered in a stars and stripes in a variety of styles. From cool and hip worn tees and tanks to cute denim shorts, the American flag is on everything.
I’m not going to lie, at first I wasn’t sure what to make out of this bold statement, however I have to admit that I am kinda digging it, well like massive.
Not sure on how to wear it? Don’t fret; I have uploaded some trendy pictures to help you on your way.
Just imagine some awesome pieces in the South African flag. I am going to try and change a pair of old denim shorts with the SA flag. They could be so hot. Do it!
I need to find some American flag pieces!
So, whether you speak, or no speak Americano… get your patriotic spirit on and join the fashion flag brigade!

You. In My Closet. Now.
*Spring is all about colours, flowers and delicious fruits*
I am obsessed with the new 'Candy Bags' from Furla. They come in all different rainbow colours and are transparent. They are the cutest accessories for summer!
There is a Furla store in Hyde Park, I gave the store a ring and they are not sure whether they will be getting stock. Maybe if we all keep calling they will grace us with their presence.
They are roughly £175. I need to get a pink one, and a blue one, okay I want one in every colour!

Curiousity killed my Innocence
Banging Bandanas
I am totally falling for this look! I know trends come and go but here in South Africa- I don’t really think this trend ever hit us.
I think we have all had enough of the gossip girl influenced headbands, so if you still like wearing them, change things up a bit and wear a bandana. Roll them , tie them or twist them.
I saw really cheap ones at Bruma- china town. They are like R30 and come in all different colours. They super rad! I got myself a few, just need to rock them!
I think this is a trend we should all rock this summer. I am only thinking about summer now, in case you haven’t noticed! Winter has left me!
Hello summer----Goodbye Winter
